National Public Lands Day: Linville Gorge, September 29th

On September 29th, Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards (SAWS), the Access Fund, the Carolina Climbers Coalition, and Out of Your Mind are organizing trail work around Table rock. We will be splitting up into multiple groups to brush, chop, and clear the MST from Table Rock to Cambric Branch  and on the Table Rock trail for immediate and lasting benefit. Join Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards on a Autumn Colors and Waterfall Hike on Saturday October 20, 2018. We will explore the Rock Creek Falls trail located within Unaka Mountain Wilderness. The trail is about a 3-mile hike roundtrip with 4 creek crossings. Along the way we'll pass several smaller falls and cascades on the way to the main falls located in a secluded, rocky amphitheater. Autumn in Tennessee Waterfall Hike #2: Laurel Falls in Pond Mountain Wilderness

Join Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards on an Autumn Colors and Waterfall Hike on Saturday October 27, 2018.  We will explore Pond Mountain Wilderness as we hike along the Appalachian Trail.  The hike will be about 2.6 miles roundtrip and will follow the Appalachian Trail.
