National Public Lands Day- Ellicott Rock Wilderness

September 28 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Saturday, September 28th, we will be celebrating National Public Lands Day with another trail work day. Our plans include tread work and small tree clearing in Ellicott Rock Wilderness. We may hike 2-4 miles this day.

We will provide safety equipment and tools. In order to participate, everyone will need to have gloves, glasses, hard hat, long pants and sturdy boots.

You will need to provide your own lunch and water, and a favorite pair of work gloves, if you prefer.

We will meet at the Stumphouse Ranger Station (112 Andrew Pickens Cir, Mountain Rest, SC 29664) at 8:00 am to discuss the plans for the day. Expect to work until 3-4 pm.

Please RSVP to let us know if you are interested in joining us for the day, space is limited.

We look forward to working in the woods!

Contact Carter Collins the Wilderness Specialist at cartercollins@wildernessstewards.org to RSVP.
